Participal Adjective

46. Participial Adjectives
Participial adjectives are also familiar as-ing and –ed adjectives. The present participle (confusing, annoying embarrassing, freezing) conveys an active meaning, while the past participle (confused, annoyed, embarrassed, frozen) conveys a passive meaning. Let’s see the examples below :
a. It’s a confusing problem (The problem confuses the students)
b. They are confused students (The Students are confused by the problem)
c. It is an amusing story (The story amuses the children)
d. They are amused children (the children are amused by the story)
